Started:
Korni started to climb with his dad and in a training group by the climbing gym.

Preferred climbs:
It is not so important what and where he climbs, but the area should not be too crowded and to have there a lot of sandstone or granite boulders, is what matters. He probably likes most Rocklands in South Africa.

From his climbing achievements he appreciates most:
Boulder Anam Cara 8C (Silvretta)

Training:
Korni does not climb much in a gym, this is what he tries to avoid as far as the weather makes it possible. He climbs outside as much as he can.

Diet:
Korni makes no restrictions for himself regarding food. Above all, he likes to eat pasta.

Future plans:
Korni would like to travel and boulder, continue in his studies and to enjoy the life as far as he is young.

Korni Obleitner about climbing:
"I like to deal with boulder problems. I get my teeth into it and try it again and again. To be talented is not bad, but experience and a great motivation is much more useful. I have people around me, who I like, we cheer on and support each other, it is fun. On the top of this, with this sport you are close to nature, what I like too. Which moment was the strongest for me? Maybe when I climbed Memento - the 8c boulder - it was kind of surprise for me."

Hobbies and interests besides climbing:
Biking, running, slack line, drawing
