Andy is pure bouldering junkie and made already heaps of hard boulders up to 8B/B+ not only in his home area Zillertal, Austria. He really loves travelling and discovering new areas like Hampi in India or Rockland in South Africa.

1) When did you start climbing?
A long time ago. I think it was in 1995 when I was 12 years old

Hendrik Binder, one of the first Zillertal climbing locals
3) What does climbing mean for you and your lifestyle?
For me climbing is the purest form of living. I like being surrounded by pure nature and being on climbing trips with my friends. A perfect day is when I strafe through the forest, just hang around all the time and try new and futruistc boulder problems.4) What was your most exciting climbing situation?
Maybe “Beat Science” in Zillertal, but there are so many “must have”-boulder problems all over the world…5) Favourite climbing sends?
