The competitions take place in the open air, in a beautiful scenic valley surrounded by 2-thousand meters high Alpine summits, on the borders between Austria and Slovenia. The climbers compete in three categories: speed, boulder, difficulty. The competitors must prove their versatility. Rock Pillars and Ocun team this year represented Katty Zachrdlova from the Czech Republic and Borna Cujic of Croatia. Petzen is every year a meeting place of the best youth competitors, this time from 15 European countries.
Katty Zachrdlova occupied in her category pupil female 1998 - 1999 very nice 5th place, Borna Cujic is the winner in category B youth - male.
