As in the last years, also this year presented Ocun its collection for the next season at the biggest European outdoor fair - OutDoor 2010.
Quattro Tech a Quattro Basic - novelties among harnesses for 2011
Quattro Tech Quattro Basic
Both of them are comfortable 4buckle technical all-round harnesses, where main focus was brought on technicality and durability. Quattro Tech has new shaping of individual parts and waist geometry which brings well balanced body position, 6 full-size gear loops and haul-bag loop in the back part of the waist belt, as well as technical multipurpose gear holders on each side for e.g. ice screws. Quattro Basic, based on Quattro Tech construction, is lite and economy version of Quattro Tech. Both of these harnesses are of course equipped with Initial Safety System (ISS), especially designed to keep leg loops stability and to prevent false rope-tie, which is nowadays a standard part of most of Ocun harnesses.
Belay sling - with adjustable length
The visitors of Ocun stand were really impressed by this tricky widget. In what is this new belay sling different? Its surprisingly simple solution makes your staying at belay point easier and more comfortable. This Ocun belay sling has adjustable length without reducing the strength.
Rip-n-stop - novelty for via ferrata runners
Ocun prepares this new set with new brake system - tear webbing fall absorber, where the brake webbing is secured in polyester case and does not hinder the climber´s movement. The arms, made of stretch webbing, have different length for easier releasing of carabiners on-load.
OutDoor is Europe’s leading outdoor sports trade fair, where all the world’s leading brands come to present their collections of the next summer season. The interest for OutDoor fair increases cnstantly. This year, OutDoor (15th - 18th July) greeted 20,460 trade visitors and 868 exhibitors from 39 countries.
