Tomas Mrazek is after injury back in great shape. He has just climbed his hard project "Xaxid Hostel" 9a+ in Osp. The 45 meter long route leads in the midle of Misja Pec, next to the route JSFK 7c+. Some friends an I have been on a trip to the Rocklands in South Africa for seven weeks. I knew that this place is really good for climbing, but as I saw it by myself i couldn´t believe how amazing the climbing is down there!! There are so many five star problems in all grates, even a lot of easier problems are really good.
The facility and it's staff have seen no less than 5 prominent local celebrities climb the wall, a nationwide mass via ferrata event and also news stories in press, TV , daily papers and the monthlies.
After 3 months of operations, we have seen more than 1000 people ascend our wall, only to reach new urban highs.
Testimony to the happy customers leaving is that our guest book that is filled up continually.
Depicting an incredible mix of emotions, all participants leave with a smile on their face, wanting to try & conquer the next via ferrata route!
The next step for BorderX will be to reach outwards to regional customers and then the international market as well.
Already in the pipeline are talks to infuse in-flight travel magazines & even Lonely Planet, Singapore edition.
BorderX look set to deliver on it's promise of bringing climbing to a whole new population in urban cool Singapore.
