Hello fans and friends of Ocun,

In the land of the "steak-eaters", time plays tricks on you. One moment you are dreaming about boulders, steep climbing, dynamic movements etc., the next your dream has become reality. Looking back, I have to say, it was the best of times; if only someone had told me! We where in this amazing untouched cannoning far away from everything else: Tuzgle, bouldering 4.000m above sea-level. Walls and boulders everywhere. What can I say? Boulders were set up. Fingers were raw. Harsh lessons learned. My life at home moved on without me, while I was drowning in a sea of pointless boulder. Good for us! On this stage, I have a confession to make: I did not like the area at first. It was just this annoying windy spot, sunny, most of the time. But, it did not fit my climbing style at first, which I of course found vaguely insulting.

So I cruised along, doing my thing, acting like being in a popular, well-developed climbing area, not really understanding how being in Tuzgle, in the middle of nowhere changes you. And I don´t remember the exact moment everything changed, I just know that it did.

Climbing in Tuzgle, Argentina has been the most profound, intense, painful experience in my life, in fact sometimes it was almost too much to bear. But when I go back, trying to remember the time which passed by, I would not like to miss a single second! And that´s why I will go back again - soon!

I loved the climbing there so much that the pictures we took look indescribable lame!
